Sorry, I didn't mean to rain on any parade. I've enjoyed those books too, and the Hyperion books, as well as The Hollow Man and some of the horror books I read in the 90's.

But I can't look past what I recently learned. The man is in bed with Glenn Beck now, and you don't want to even google Dan Simmons and Islam together. :(
