Guess who's getting older??? :-)

[Error: unknown template video]

Here's a lolbot who's completing 27 googleplex-bytes worth of stupidity, insanity and hilarity. We're as old as we feel, right? Which must mean I'm soon to enter kindergarten! YAY! :-D

Just hoping my robbo systems won't suffer a short circuit from tonight's part-eee-e-e.....

[identity profile] alphistia.livejournal.com 2011-03-31 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
you're only 27? I always thought you were middle-aged ;-)

[identity profile] abomvubuso.livejournal.com 2011-03-31 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my.

[identity profile] geezer-also.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Because the weight of SA weighs heavily upon him, he is old before his time. (not that middle-age is old)

[identity profile] mahnmut.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
I am!

...midway to middle-age. :-P

[identity profile] il-mio-gufo.livejournal.com 2011-03-31 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
btw, who programmed this one?

[identity profile] abomvubuso.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It doesnt matter, it instantly de-programs itself.

[identity profile] il-mio-gufo.livejournal.com 2011-04-02 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
eh, would be much better if it could self-destruct too *inspector gadget rules*

Congratulations on leveling up!

Hey, Happy Birthday Man! The DDoS attacks kept me from logging in earlier (and prolly you from posting) - please accept the belated greetings! :P

[identity profile] mahnmut.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah what happened to LJ?

[identity profile] pmax3.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 07:42 am (UTC)(link)
A really bad Distributed Denial of Service attack. Somebody was speculating it was to take out anger at a single Russian Internet-activist who has a journal on LJ.

[identity profile] mahnmut.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Now you've made me curious. Got some details?

[identity profile] pmax3.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 12:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I heard it was to attack this guy's journal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexey_Navalny

The journal is here:
http://navalny.livejournal.com/
Ask Kol to translate it for you :D

[identity profile] mahnmut.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep, LJ is something very different for Russians than it is for all others. It's their primary outlet of expression and online organization.

And it's been bought by a Russian company which is related to Putin. Just saying...

[identity profile] alphistia.livejournal.com 2011-04-01 07:06 pm (UTC)(link)
A recent article about LJ's popularity in RUssia had this to say:
"To Wired readers, LiveJournal is more likely seen as an out-dated predecessor of MySpace. " ooh, damning with NO praise :-)
http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2011-02/04/livejournal-in-russia
As far as Putin's guys monitoring LJ...if people think the FBI and CIA don't monitor blogs and websites of those they suspect disagree with American policies, just ask Julian Assange...

u said it - that's why i think y'all are so bold to discuss things so freely. about a year ago i swear i had a russian on me. he posed as security but our condos had none i later found out :/
