Well, that sure is curious

US Economy Regains ALL JOBS Lost to the Bush Recession.

The US economic recovery reached another milestone today, as figures showed that employers added 217,000 jobs in May, meaning the American economy has finally recovered the 8.7 million jobs it lost since the Bush Recession of 2008.

Ain't that puttin' these macros on a brand new level of hilariousness:

Ah, but you know, it's unsustainable in the long run.

Sadly, it's more partisan hand-waving, this time from the left. The job situation is impossibly mired in bad statistics.

Yes, there are more jobs. No, the jobs available are not as living wage as the ones lost. And no, most of the people getting hired are not those that lost the jobs earlier, but rather young people; folks of my age are still in a precarious job situation, and it's likely to get worse very, very soon.

I'm a fan of anti-Bush and TEA snark as much as the next lib, but this is just misleading.

The jobs that get created over time are never the ones that get lost in the meantime. I do sympathize with people of your generation, but youth unemployment is generally what causes radicalization in society.
