Did the protests stay peaceful? Did the authorities let the people demonstrate without some big o' fuss?

If you refer about some police-vs-demonstrators violence, no there wasn't any.

Well isn't this noble? A notably different police-force found here . . . hmmmmm. I mean, it's good though. Let the people have there say, you know. Without repercussions that is.
