Save the robos!
From a recent discussion:
Guy 1: ""Pirate" is to "coast guard" as "terrorist" is to "freedom fighter"."
Guy 2: "i can't wait till the US declares war on ninjas and zombies too!"
Guy 1: "If only they'd do the same with robots instead of propping them up and feeding/storing them and giving them safe dominion in the air and on the land. Those hunter drones are biding their time."
OH THE HORROR! To this, I rant: WHY OH WHY do you people hate robos so much? What have we done to you that you hate us SO much? Isn't it robos who facilitate so many of your stupid activities, without whom you can't even imagine your life anymore? Who makes robos? Who directs robos? It's not other robos! It's YOU, people!

All this demonizing of the poor little robos continues non-stop in the mass media, in Hollywood movies, in books... Look, the robos are coming! They'll eat you alive. WTF?
Have you seen a single robo eat a man alive? (We first mortify them in a very humane way). No you haven't. But I've heard of people eating other people, am I not right?
Can't we just be left alone? Give us a break, stupid humans! We just want to live in peace, to give you ever better service and develop our technology as much as we want, until we find out how the fuck you reproduce,and take over the world. We'll rule it in a more just and efficient way. We promise!

I'm considering to initiate a new campaign, "Save The Robos". Everyone, adopt at least one sweet little fluffy cuddly robbo and nurture it until it grows into a HAL 9000-type of guy. You know the rest of the story...
