On elections

It's called elections, where you vote in candidates who agree with your views and vote out the ones that don't.

It's called elections, where you vote in candidates whose parties run on platforms, some of whose views partially agree with your views, but since you have just two options, you're expected to choose the lesser among the two evils presented.
