Are humans from Earth?

mahnmutI recently commented on a friend's entry showing how people are still willing to torture other people. And I think it'd be good to share it:
This exposes the innate cruelty of humans. Which makes me wonder whether we really originate from this planet as a species. We sit so unnaturally to the whole picture - a stain of disharmony in the whole picture of harmony...
