The hypocritical pseudo-Puritan US society condemns the adultery of one of its idols, while indulging into fornication and moral vileness of all sorts?
Remarkably, a story about Tiger Woods many infidelities gets traction for weeks, but a story like this (see wire story lead below) ultimately gets a shrug of the shoulders response from most US media and the American public. Blackwater thugs continue to be paid by the American taxpayer, even under Obama! This kind of thing happens so often it's not even a shock anymore:
Expecting justice, Iraqis get bitter shock as judge throws out Blackwater shooting case By Rebecca Santana (CP) – 8 hours ago BAGHDAD — Iraqis seeking justice for 17 people shot dead at a Baghdad intersection responded with bitterness and outrage Friday at a U.S. judge's decision to throw out a case against a Blackwater security team accused in the killings. The Iraqi government vowed to pursue the case, which became a source of contention between the U.S. and the Iraqi government. Many Iraqis also held up the judge's decision as proof of what they'd long believed: U.S. security contractors were above the law
Well I was accused by an over-zealous Ameripatriot that 'I don't know shit about the American mindset' for bringing this up. I guess I should just shut up and talk about Avatar.
And now you finally know your place, Africa-based, European man.
It's really best to leave America to the Americans. We are doing such a bang up job of running our country, the global economy, Iran's nuclear disarmament program, policing the world, stopping climate change, spreading democracy and entertainment throughout the land! And don't forget, the U.S has the moral imperative to rid the world of terrorists (aka people that are not Christian or who want to stop corporate greed). And we excel at hand washing, germ phobia, moralizing, hypocracy, SHOPPING! and criticism of other people.
But do talk about Avatar because it provides the solutions to all the world's problems. God bless James Cameron and his Smurfy Fighters for Good.
And hey, sorry about Africa, man. If only it were a U.S. State. You wouldn't have to worry about corruption and/or stupidly of your elected officials–it would be guaranteed!
And...
