I initially posted this on talk_politics , but on second thoughts, I realize it really must've been a bit insulting for those to whom it was addressed. So I'll just put it here. Thanks to the mods for sobering me down. I should've known better.

This is inevitable. I think all we need is some patience. I can see through the mods' purpose for going on Spotlight.

Its to be expected. People get interested and want to participate. It would be much better if the community could turn a very patient and educational hand for the time being but I doubt that's going to happen. We could nab some people, get them to educate and do a little good, but I think it's just going to turn into a blister for a couple weeks instead.
