Barbarians Killing a Barbarian

paid for by US taxpayers...

"This should alleviate any doubt that Iraq has become a civilized nation... Not..." (a comment)
"WTF is "civilized nation"!?
"I don't know, I've never seen one."

A Farce
This whole fiasco just strikes me as ghoulish, evil, dark... add to that abu Ghraib, torture, hundreds of thousands dead, Guantanamo dugeons, butt pyramids, sexual humiliation, bombs exploding everyday with body parts all over the place. It's just too much. Then to see men in black hoods putting someone in a rope to die - not that Saddam didn't deserve punishment, but this is just too weird, like someones bizarre SM fantasy being played out on an international stage. I'm glad Saddam isn't in power, but this is just getting too weird. All these people dead so we can ceremoniously kill the leader of a country. And there are plenty of leaders who have been as bad or even worse than Saddam. It seems to me they are sending a message to the world that dissent from the Empire will be punished by death. We're seeing the U.S.A. turn into something else... what that something is I don't know, but it scares the hell out of me.

...Couldn't agree more with the above.
