A teacher is going in front of a court in Sudan because she allowed her pupils to name a teddy bear Muhammad...
The charges are insult to religion and inciting hatred. WTF!?!? Can't I call my teddy bear Jesus, Buddha or whatever? And how is this connected to religion?
And what HATRED can a teddy bear incite? A teddy bear is supposed to be LOVED, right? Am I missing something?

How is personal religious belief relevant to the functions of the President of the United States?
(US is STILL a secular country, no?) Am I missing something?

The answer is: very, to remain in office a direct line with God is necessary, constant consultion and frequent biblical quotes in various speeches... in addition, one preacher in Georgia can get a whole congregation of voters to vote one way, while a filthy little porn consuming abortion having pot smoking athetist is most likely too doped up to even get out and vote...
