On the media

mahnmutThe title of this piece says it all. "If we knew", and the fact is, we can't be sure. None of us, not in the US, not in the middle east, not anywhere. I watch a lot of news and I can tell you, the stories change constantly. In the morning, 20 people are dead, and later it's 17, then it's 3 with 15 hurt, then later it's no one died but, 25 where hurt. The point is, we can't trust the media. They are playing us all like fiddles.
The thing is, most people don't watch the news all day so we are all constantly getting different versions of everything. No one is on the same page. How does anyone expect the world to get it's act together with this going on?
The answer is simple. Stop basing your opinions and attitudes on what you see and hear and act on principles. Most people have a basic understanding of good principles even if they don't use them. Stop reacting and start acting based on what you know is right, and good, and just. Not what others tell is so. What you know is, in your heart.
