I would've laughed at this, if it wasn't so enraging...


VID #1. A Pennsylvania court upholds a controversial voter I.D. law that affect 9% of the entire state electorate, but that's the price you pay to prevent something that doesn't happen.


VID #2. Ohio Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted provokes national outcry by restricting voting hours for Democratic-leaning counties to suppress voter turnout.

Oh, they do better. They relocate thousands of people in new townships, then change the borders of the voting regions, so they could guarantee themselves the voting results they need.

And still they fail.

hmmm....they fail because.....well, i wonder why? Is it because in SA there exists a "true" majority? Be it an ethnic majority, ethic majority, political majority, etc.. Is there a common perception and set expectation on government right now there in SA?

You know...because in The States it's almost as if no one really knows what the job/role of the government is. All sides are still trying (in my eyes) to decided the extent of government's role in society.

Bickering about the role of government is sooo First-World problem! You're fortunate that you can afford to spend your time bickering about it, rather than killing each other.
