Er... We (the Brits) got rightly lambasted for doing this more than 150 years ago.
I hope this new return to old barbarities can quickly be righted. If we are all going to descend into barbarism at least let the older nations gird their prejudices so they can return to the fray. Seem to recall we were less kind to Jewish folk too, never mind the Irish, the French, the Germans.... etc & etc.
(Slight vomit-in-mouth at those last two sentences, but there you go.)
