MDC Morgan Tsvangirai
Mr Tsvangirai says he won presidential and parliamentary polls

Zimbabwe's electoral commission has released seven more results from a partial recount of last month's parliamentary elections.

None of the original results were overturned, making it difficult for the ruling Zanu-PF party to overturn an opposition majority in the lower house.

so as predicted, Mugabe already started loosing...!
so what's next??
after the whole election results become announced and Mugabe's party lost, will this predict very strong opposition to Mugabe presidency and maybe an early elections for the next president,, or will Mugabe hold in his position?
you know what is the problem in semi presiidential countries like Zimbabwe or Egypt, I think politics are less predictible as a ruling party looses in paliment yet still remains ruling as president!
I think a presidential or parlimental system is better

The system depends on the structure of the country. The bigger countries who have a federal structure tend to have presidential republic. The smaller countries are better off with a parliamentary republic. But of course, any country can change its system if one party has enough majority to change the Constitution (like Nepal now). But in Zimbabwe's case this is impossible. Yes, Mugabe is quickly losing his grip on power, which could make him very dangerous because noone can predict how he will react. There could be either a crackdown on the opposition (which is already happening partially) or his own party will pressure him to step down, which is the better option.
