That's what I've been trying to portray for the last 2 days. For the record, I'd like Israel to lift the blockade immediately. But that's not the way to do it. And my focus is of course on people's bias (while acknowledging my own as well).

Why is it not the way to do it? The flotilla made the blockade the global #1 news story for almost a week now. International pressure is building against Israel and if they continue with their current attitude, it's going to hurt them a lot. Seems to me like these actions were an absolute success.

Technically, yes indeed. Confrontation worked to down apartheid. The downside being that many people died in the process. How many people would you like to sacrifice now, and does it matter to you if they're not Americans or Europeans?
